Sorry guys, but you failed completely with v. 5.2
The Creeps are simply too powerful, the idea with the creeps getting mana is good, but the things they can do is way too powerful, there is no fun playing those games, you play for 5 min and then one of them teams is dead

Well i have to admit that it needs much more skill to play 5.2 and that may be bad for pubby games. But i like it xD

Well people have to adapt I guess, there are many items available for this stage of the game and every hero is capable to survive and kill in the beginning; its just harder.
In public games it is even much easier, since you get much more lvls then in clan internal games. Also with enabled shrines it should be no problem to achieve lvls.
In clan internal games and hard, lvl-minimizing sending and deactivated shrines it is still possible to survive and kill with every hero.
I think it is much harder now, but not unplayable, and in some weeks many players will be able to do well even vs the stronger creeps. At least I like this more than the usual brainless and way too easy kill everything until lvl 120 and then blink and kill.

Well yes you are able to kill them, but well i myself only play public games, so if you play 5v5 and there will always be some noobs on each team, it pretty much destroy the game. Did try some 2v2, but again, there were some noobs, maybe i just need to be patient and wait for the right game ^^
I go try and play a bit more, sry i was a bit too fast with the other comment, was just a bit surprised by the difficulty :)

Well here are my thoughts, first those many new creeps and hero changes are awesome.
Second, about T1 being so hard. Well i like the fact they aren't instant food anymore but some are just too powerfull now. spiders and rogues for instance , they used to be easy kills now spiders are almost unkillable with spells and rogues by normal attacks. I think both of em should get a small nerf to their special ability (spiders to 75% spell resistance and rogues something like 15hp/s heal). And than the fact T1 get buffed at 4 and 10k income. Even tho i like that i think it makes early T2 rush totally useless. As now T2 was nerfed (shamans and giant hunter aura) and T1 incredibly buffed. After playing a few games i noticed the following: if u survive through T1 u will easily survive through T2 and only T3 might get u into trouble. Therefor what i'd suggest is to also give T2 a buff at a certain income (maybe 50K ) like this the game remains challenging unlike now where only T1 is a real challenge . (if u prove urself to be skilled enough to win vs T1 u will win vs T2 & 3) .

The first time i played the 5.2 i was like AAHHHHHHHH WTF IS THAT OMG IMPOSIBLE
i was doing -arns lol ... we cant play without the shrine now .... at least not with a meelee hero
i played the 5.1 200 time in pub
in 5.2 we only need to buy pot near the 100 gold income instead of the 300-400 and we need to buy a lot lol
just survive to the start and you are find. you need your skill lv 2 or 3. the lv 1 do nothing

in my opinion, I agree with generals about the spiders and rogues (maybe 10regn per sec or 5) they should not be strong at all for begining creeps.
2nd, the monster that has the most impact on making this game difficult now is the zergling imo for public games which makes them much more powerful, in my few games I have found that buying the dragonskin armor GREATLY helps, its affordable at 2k price, but I do think maybe the zerglings should be nerfed in next version, they are very strong for the cost of only 30 gold much greater than their counterparts (centaur archers), maybe make the sacrifice cost more mana or decrease the effects, or decrease cost of the blessed orb or increase the effects of the blessed orb, lots of ways to fix it.
Lastly, I do think this game is still very great, its much more of a team game now than a 1v1 game, 1v1 games are still very good and team games are much more difficult now due to the new creeps i find this 2 be a very much improved game, just needs a few tweaks here and there for the next balance version

Well, if he hadnt have changed on all of these things, maybe it would not be any "funny" changes at all? the point with new versions is that there shall be new challenges and things to discover. I think tho...
IM not going to say so much, cause i havent even played the new game, because my computer is fuuuucked up....

Well, after i played the v 5.2 a few more times, i actually started to like the version, despite my first comment in here ^^
But i have to agree with some of the others, Rogues have too much life regn, and spiders should have less magic proof, like 75 or so, 90 is too much imo
But other than that, its a funny version to play with, if you entered a game with few or no noobs at all :)

I can not seem to get the game to my warcraft map files, i have downloaded straight there, i have downloaded in other files and copy/pasted to the maps file, and i can not seem to get the game in there, can yall please help me =D

Just a quick reply, imo the long range shooters from dark T2 has too long range, its very frustrating when they can shoot at you from the other side, maybe you could shorten the range a bit?

Well, 5.2, a lot of new impressions. After playing 5 pub games, i think this version is too hard for the normal "bulk" of players. I hosted 2 "pro only" games. It works very well.
I dont think u totally failed with this version. The price changeing are awesum :P. After the first 5-10 Min its still easy to play.
I agree with hasseren. The shooters from dark T2 has too long range. Maybe 1000/1250 makes things easier :P. Without shrines the beginning is harder than ever, I love this way of playing =)

What have you done with the version?
If you just spam little spiders in the beginning magic will do 10%, 10 FUCKING %, i did 7 damage and everybody in my team were -int heroes so we couldn't do shit if we didn't use the house magic, and how fun is it to don't get any money.
FAIL version, fix the darn thing.
